The short version: Pathagos stores your data on your device and, if you turn it on,
in your own private iCloud. We — the developer — never receive it, never see it, and never sell it.
There are no ads, no analytics, and no third-party trackers.
Who this applies to
This policy covers the Pathagos iOS and Apple Watch apps (the "App"). It's written to be honest and readable,
not to bury anything in legalese.
What data the App handles
Fitness data you enter: the metrics, workouts, routines, and notes you log in the App.
Profile details: your name, height, weight, sex, and (optionally) date of birth, used to
calculate stats, tiers, and fair standards.
Apple Health data: with your explicit permission, the App reads certain HealthKit metrics
(such as steps, heart rate, VO₂ max, body measurements, workouts, and time in daylight) to keep your
progress up to date, and can write completed workouts back to Health.
Where your data lives
On your device by default, in the App's local storage.
In your private iCloud only if you enable iCloud sync, so your data follows you across
your own devices. This uses Apple's iCloud (CloudKit) private database — it's tied to your Apple ID and is
not accessible to us.
In backup files you create yourself. If you export a backup, that file is saved wherever
you choose (e.g. Files or iCloud Drive). You control it.
What we collect on our servers
Nothing. Pathagos has no backend server that receives your data. We don't operate analytics,
advertising, or tracking of any kind, and we don't share or sell your information — because we never have it.
Apple Health (HealthKit)
Health and fitness data accessed through HealthKit is used solely to power features inside the App
(progress, stats, tiers, and syncing your workouts). In line with Apple's requirements, this data is never
used for advertising or marketing, and is never shared with third parties. You can review or revoke the App's
Health permissions at any time in the iOS Health app or Settings.
Your control
Delete any entry, or reset all data, from within the App.
Turn iCloud sync on or off in Settings.
Revoke Health access at any time.
Uninstalling the App removes its local data from that device.
Children
Pathagos is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
